We follow Lauren through an entire life. She has always taken things as they come, moving through life with a quiet passivity and the belief that things will unfold as they should. But when a series of events pushes her off course, she begins to act—and is driven toward the opposite extreme. Thrown out of her comfort zone, she tries to take control, stepping into a place where boundaries begin to shift.
